Seed Pearl and Gold Bead Bracelet
with Large Angel Skin Coral Cameo Closure

This gorgeous bracelet consists of four strands of seed pearls and gold beads connecting with a large, well carved angel skin coral cameo. The cameo measures 1 and 7/8 inches by 1 and 1/2 inches, and depicts Zues and a woman (possibly Hera or Maia, Hermes mother) in the clouds. An eagle with wings spread is shown to the right, and Hermes (Mercury) with his winged hat is shown to the left. Also to the left is a staff with a snake around it. The cameo is carved with beautiful detail and artistry. The piece is in wonderful condition and very solidly set - the cameo does show one hairline stress fracture near the top which does not make it loose in the setting or detract from its beauty and mythological subject matter. The cameo is set in 14 kt gold, encasing the clasp for the seed pearl and gold bead bracelet. The bracelet measures 6 and 1/2 inches in length.
