The Three Graces

Known to be the daughters of Zeus, this cameo depicts the three graces from mythology. Young and beautiful, the girls all have long flowing hair and apear to be in a field of flowers. The large shell cameo is circular and measures 3 and 1/8 inches (80 mm) in diameter. This beautiful cameo is signed on the back with the initials IUR or JWS (exact lettering difficult to discern - see photo above). The cameo is set in a simple gold frame which can be worn as either a brooch or pendant. The frame is stamped "K14" in two places.
