Spanish Princess Shell Cameo

This shell cameo is very uniquely carved with the portrait of a spanish princess. She wears a crown and hoop earrings, and she is adorned with long stem roses. Behind her crown are feathers or stalks of wheat. She has a captivating face as well - a very beautiful cameo. The cameo is set in a fancy gold filigree frame. There is evidence of wear on the frame, but the cameo is in excellent condition. The piece measures 1 and 7/8 inches by 2 and 1/4 inches. It can be worn as either a pin or a pendant.
