Russian Monkey on a Chain

Incredible detail and metal work. This sterling silver monkey hangs as if on a swing, holding on to the sturdy sterling silver chain. The monkey measures 2 inches long and 1 and 1/8 inches wide (at the widest point). The chain is approximately 30 inches long and is stamped 925 twice, as well as "italy". The monkey is stamped with Russian letter markings at the tip of his tail (similar to a backwards "N" and "P84"). The estate from which it was purchased had also listed it as "Russian".
