Designed to be used as either a brooch or a pendant, this beautiful piece shows fancy gold work combined with the fire of brilliant opals and the sparkle of fine diamonds. The opals consist of one measuring 5 mm, and 3 measuring 3 mm. The diamonds measure 2.5 mm in diameter each. The gold work is fanciful, likely of the Edwardian era (1901-1910). The piece measures 1 and 3/8 inches in diameter. It is a wonderful and useful piece to spice up any wardrobe.
