A wonderfully ornate ring featuring a large oval opal cabochon measuring 10 mm by 12 mm. This opal is much more colorful than the photo shows (they are very difficult to photograph). The opal is prong set in a 10 kt gold setting with fancy gold work that includes gold beads, twists and ropes. The gold work is very three dimensional and handsomely handcrafted. On either side of the opal are two 1.5 mm diamonds for further accent and flare. Truely a unique piece. The ring is size 8 and 3/4.
