This is a small but interesting sardonyx/agate cameo of an older gentleman with a beard. The stone has a brown base (sard) and a thick layer of translucent yellowish agate with a white layer (onyx) use for the base relief carving. There is nice detail on the mans profile as well. The rectangular cameo measures 7 mm by 10 mm and is prong set in 10 kt yellow gold. The length of the stick pin is 57 mm.
