Beautiful Peasant Woman - Oval Lava Cameo

This is a fabulous laval cameo - wonderful detail of a peasant woman from long ago. The carving shows deep relief and very nice undercutting, especiall around the face. The cameo is in very good condition. The piece measures 2 and 1/2 inches wide by 1 and 1/4 inches high. The lava is a nice olive color. A beautiful piece waiting for a beautiful setting.
